Speech Language Pathologist

Position: Speech Language Pathologist - Geriatric Salary Range: $39.50-$44 per hour Schedule: Full‑time (40 hours per week), Monday‑Friday with weekend rotation Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Speech Language Pathologist to join our team and provide specialized care to our geriatric patients. As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will work with elderly individuals who have communication and swallowing disorders, helping them to improve their quality of life and maintain their independence. Key Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments of patients' speech, language, and swallowing abilities Develop individualized treatment plans based on patients' needs and goals Implement evidence‑based therapy techniques to improve communication and swallowing function Monitor and document patients' progress and adjust treatment plans as needed Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide the best possible care for patients Educate patients and their families on strategies for improving communication and swallowing function Stay up‑to‑date with advancements in the field of speech language pathology and apply new techniques to improve patient outcomes Qualifications Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited program Current state license to practice as a Speech Language Pathologist Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech‑Language‑Hearing Association (ASHA) Experience working with geriatric patients preferred Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team Knowledge of Medicare and Medicaid regulations and documentation requirements #J-18808-Ljbffr Trinity Healthcare Talent Services, LLC
