Security Officer Access Control Monitor in King Of Prussia, PA . This part‑time role allows you to build a schedule that works for you and to explore new opportunities using our Claim a Shift platform. The position is located at a dynamic commercial real estate site where you will monitor entry points, manage access control, and support a welcoming environment for tenants and visitors. The role combines visible presence, routine patrols, and strong communication to reduce security‑related incidents. Position Details Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $21.29 / Hour Job Schedule: Fri: 02:30 PM - 10:30 PM Sat: 02:30 PM - 10:30 PM What You’ll Do Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and staff by following site‑specific access control procedures, visitor management protocols, and emergency response activities when appropriate. Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor authorization, and help deter unauthorized access throughout the location. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, documenting security‑related concerns and reporting notable activity to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership. Conduct regular and random patrols of lobbies, common areas, loading areas, parking facilities, and perimeter locations to identify unusual conditions and support access control objectives. Assist with badge checks, package and delivery screening, and front entry oversight while maintaining detailed logs of visitors, vendors, and security‑related events. Minimum Requirements CPR and First Aid experience is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Access control and badge experience is preferred. Alarm panel experience is preferred. CPR certification is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
