Marchon's client is hiring a proofreader to join their team. This is a full-time onsite position in Syosset.
Required skills include:
- Proofreading skills (review documents for grammar, spelling, and style)
- Basic graphic design skills (which include making modifications to existing documents or setting up simple business cards and letterheads)
- Flexibility and ability to multi-task or switch between work quickly
- Attention to detail
- Deadline-oriented
- Desktop publishing tools and graphic design software knowledge
- Time-management skills
- Communication skills (answer calls from customers and provide updates on job status)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Computer literate (will need to work on different platforms)
- Check jobs that are printed to ensure that everything is printed correctly
