Job Description

Roberts Design is looking for an Interior designer to join their studio on a full-time permanent basis. The ideal candidate would hold a bachelor’s degree in interior design or interior architecture and have 2-3 years of experience working on commercial and high-end residential projects.

Job requirements include:

Minimum of 2 years of experience in an interior design or architectural environment
Holds a degree in architecture, interior design, interior architecture, or related field
Work on projects through all phases of design
Work with Senior Designers as part of the Design Team
Ability to coordinate with project construction teams
Manage multiple jobs at one time
Procurement, purchasing and order tracking
Proficiency using AutoCAD, Adobe Suite, Microsoft Office
Client, Vendor & supplier liaison
Assist in Installation & onsite FF&E delivery
Comprehensive knowledge in drafting interior design drawing packages including finish plans and material specification, schedules, RCP, and electrical plans
Prepare and maintain project files, correspondence, drawings, etc.
Create and continually update spec sheets as needed
Excellent eye for detail
Strong communication and presentation skills
Problem solving skills
Working successfully to strict deadlines
Balance of design creativity and technical proficiency.
Assist with office management tasks
