Take a virtual tour of Hilton Garden Inn Downtown Dallas here.# JOB DESCRIPTION**Job Title**: Restaurant Server**Department:** Food & Beverage**Supervision Exercised:** None**Supervision Received:** Restaurant Supervisor / Restaurant Manager / Food & Beverage Manager**MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS****Education*** High school diploma or equivalent preferred.**Experience*** Previous serving or hospitality experience preferred.* Experience with POS systems and cash handling a plus.**Skills and Knowledge*** Excellent customer service and communication skills.* Ability to multitask in a fast-paced dining environment.* Knowledge of menu items, allergens, food preparation, and beverage options.* Strong attention to detail and order accuracy.* Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 25–30 lbs.* Basic math and cash-handling skills.* Professional appearance and polished demeanor.**Job Duties and Responsibilities*** Greet guests promptly and provide friendly, attentive service.* Present menus, answer questions, and make recommendations.* Take accurate food and beverage orders and input them into the POS system.* Deliver food and drinks promptly, ensuring proper presentation and temperature.* Check back with guests regularly and anticipate needs.* Process payments, handle cash, and balance receipts accurately.* Maintain table cleanliness, reset tables, and support dining room organization.* Communicate guest needs and concerns to management or kitchen staff as needed.* Follow all food safety, sanitation, and alcohol service guidelines.* Assist with opening, closing, and side work duties.* Perform additional duties as assigned by management. #J-18808-Ljbffr
