Job Title: CockroachDB Administration Location: Plano, TX (Onsite) Roles ResponsibilitiesDesign deploy and manage distributed databases CockroachDB PostgreSQL etcAdminister and optimize enterprise database platforms Oracle Exadata RedisManage containerized database deployments using Kubernetes scheduling networking storage secretsImplement infrastructure automation using Terraform IaCDevelop Python scripts for automation integrations and operational tasksBuild and maintain CICD pipelines for database and infrastructure deploymentsEnsure high availability scalability and reliability of database systemsPerform database performance tuning monitoring and troubleshootingHandle enterprise production support L2L3 incident resolution and RCAImplement security compliance and access control policiesWork closely with DevOps application and cloud teamsRequired SkillsStrong experience in distributed database systems CockroachDB preferredHandson experience with PostgreSQL Oracle Exadata RedisGood knowledge of Kubernetes concepts containerized DB managementExperience in Terraform Infrastructure as CodeProficiency in Python scripting for automationExperience with cloud platforms AWS Azure GCPStrong knowledge of Linux administrationExperience in production support troubleshooting and incident managementGood to HaveExperience with SRE practices observability SLAs reliability engineeringExposure to monitoring tools Prometheus Grafana etcKnowledge of data replication sharding and distributed architectures
