As a Security Officer Entry Screening Driver in Mc Intosh, AL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. Join Allied Universal at a dynamic chemical and petrochemical location as an Access Control professional. In this driving post, you will monitor entry points, verify credentials, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents while delivering outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to all persons at the location by following access control procedures, verifying credentials, monitoring entry and exit activity, and carrying out site-specific security-related policies and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Monitor visitor, employee, and contractor access at gates, lobbies, and/or restricted areas within a chemical and petrochemical location, helping to support authorized entry and documenting unusual activity.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, communicating with site contacts and/or first responders as needed and preparing clear reports on security-related events.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around buildings, production-adjacent areas, parking areas, and the perimeter, helping to identify potential concerns, policy violations, and/or unauthorized access attempts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
