Wastewater Design Engineer

Key Responsibilities Lead and support the design of municipal water and wastewater treatment facilities and related infrastructure projects. Prepare engineering plans, specifications, calculations, technical reports, and supporting documentation. Develop and review engineering drawings utilizing AutoCAD. Serve as a technical resource and primary point of contact for clients throughout project lifecycles. Coordinate with municipalities, contractors, regulatory agencies, and project stakeholders. Conduct occasional site visits to collect field data and support project execution. Assist with project management activities including scheduling, budgeting, resource planning, and client communications. Ensure projects are completed in accordance with applicable regulations, industry standards, and client requirements. Qualifications Active Professional Engineer (PE) license required. Bachelor's degree in Civil, Environmental, or related Engineering discipline. Minimum of 6 years of engineering experience, preferably focused on water and wastewater infrastructure projects. Proficiency with AutoCAD . Strong understanding of engineering design principles, permitting processes, and municipal project delivery. Experience working directly with clients, municipalities, and regulatory agencies. Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Self-motivated professional who thrives in a collaborative, hands‑on environment.
