Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)

Full-Time, Monday - Friday, No Call, No OB | Geneva, NY

Virtus Healthcare Staffing is engaged in a search for a dedicated and experienced Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to join our partner, a respected general hospital in Geneva, NY. This full-time role is based in their Operating Room and Surgery Center, offering a balanced work schedule with no on-call responsibilities and no obstetrics cases.

Provide Exceptional Anesthesia Care

As a CRNA, you will play a vital role in ensuring patient safety and comfort during surgical procedures. You will collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive anesthesia care in a supportive and collaborative environment.

Responsibilities:

Deliver anesthesia care to patients in the OR and Surgery Center.
Perform pre-anesthesia assessments, develop anesthesia plans, and administer anesthetic medications.
Monitor patients throughout procedures, adjusting anesthesia as necessary.
Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals.
Adhere to hospital protocols and standards of practice.

Qualifications:

Current and unrestricted CRNA certification.
Active Registered Nurse and Advanced Practice Nurse licenses in New York.
Proven experience in anesthesia care, preferably in a surgery center or OR setting.
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
High level of attention to detail and commitment to patient safety and quality care.
