Practice Manager Glastonbury Pediatrics ProHealth Physicians

ProHealth Physicians (CT), part of the Optum family of businesses, is seeking a Practice Manager to join our Pediatrics team in Glastonbury CT. ProHealth Physicians has an immediate opening for a Practice Manager reporting to the Senior Practice Manager. The Practice Manager is responsible for directing, supervising and coordinating the overall operations of the medical practice. Partners with the Senior Practice Manager and physician(s) to establish practice goals: financial, quality and patient satisfaction. Monitors goals regularly to ensure the practice is profitable, efficient and providing quality care. Accountable for goals and objectives related to population health management. Works collaboratively with other Practice Managers in the assigned area to function as one group practice. Manages process improvement initiatives. Location: 290 Western Blvd, Glastonbury CT Specialty: Pediatrics Hours: 40‑hour work week, Monday through Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm Primary Responsibilities: Establish work procedures and standards to improve efficiency and effectiveness in the office. Assist the Senior Practice Manager and physician(s) to develop and implement long‑range plans. Manage office operations to maximize patient access, patient satisfaction, and collection of payments. Coordinate staff and provider schedules to ensure proper coverage for quality patient care. Manage human resources – hiring, onboarding, coaching, and evaluating. Seek to create a team environment. Reconcile and investigate patient complaints. Manage, lead, and participate in process improvement initiatives. Ensure practice compliance with ProHealth policies, procedures and programs. Actively participate in practice, regional and organizational meetings. Required Qualifications: Experience in practice/medical office management/operations, having managed/lead staff in clinical and non‑clinical roles with a demonstrated ability to drive operational workflows. Solid computer knowledge and aptitude. Proven high proficiency with reporting and data analytics. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with electronic health record, medical terminology, coding and billing. Experience with Microsoft Suite. Knowledge of population health management. Knowledge of Lean/Six Sigma process‑improvement tools and techniques. Demonstrated business and financial skills. Pay is based on several factors including, but not limited to, local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase, and 401(k) contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The salary for this role will range from $60,200 to $107,400 annually based on full‑time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
