Back Staff Accountant Staff Accountant Westborough, Massachusetts Perm 75000 Jul 31, 2026 $75000.00 - $90000.00 Our client, an innovative technology company, is seeking a Staff Accountant to join its growing finance team. This is a hands-on opportunity to own day-to-day accounting operations while working closely with the Accounting Manager and CFO in a collaborative, high-growth environment. Responsibilities Process bi-weekly payroll and maintain employee payroll records. Manage full-cycle Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable, including customer invoicing, cash applications, and vendor payments. Oversee collections and proactively manage aging receivables. Reconcile bank accounts, general ledger accounts, intercompany transactions, and credit card activity. Prepare journal entries, accruals, and support the month-end close process. Assist with project accounting, purchase order tracking, and revenue recognition support. Provide documentation for audits, tax filings, and other compliance requirements. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. 2-5 years of progressive accounting experience. Hands-on experience with full-cycle AP, AR, payroll, and collections. Proficiency with QuickBooks and advanced Excel skills. Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and communication abilities. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment. Desire to grow into a Senior Accountant role. Compensation $75,000 - $90,000
