Benefits that help you thrive * Retirement: 403(b) plan * Well-being support: Employee Assistance Program, counseling and peer support, spiritual care and stress management resources How you'll make an impact in this role * Deliver high-quality emergency nursing care by performing rapid patient assessments, implementing critical care plans, and continuously monitoring, recording, and communicating changing patient conditions in a fast-paced ED. * Serve as the primary care coordinator across multidisciplinary emergency teams to execute physician orders, manage complex treatments, and ensure seamless, well-coordinated patient interventions. * Manage the entire patient trajectory from initial triage and acute stabilization through to comprehensive discharge planning and coordination with the healthcare team. What minimum requirements you'll need Licensure / Certification / Registration: * BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. * Registered Nurse credentialed from the Illinois Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. * Advanced Life Support preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. Education: * Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR required professional licensure at time of hire.
