Project Manager - General

Our client, a leading Financial Services provider, is seeking a Project Manager to join their growing organization. This position is W-2 only. We do not work with third-party firms or C2C arrangements for this role. Core Responsibilities Work on medium to large-scale complex, cross-workstream and platform projects that have a direct impact on the company Drive cross projects based on defined priorities Ensure scope of deliverables, timelines and governance materials are met Identify risks and issues and mitigate and / or escalate as needed Manage complex up and downstream project impacts Plan, document, manage and execute project plans to ensure delivery Perform management through design, planning, testing, implementation, and transfer to business as usual Leverage problem solving skills to ensure project plans deliver on intent and maintain key project documentation Partner with project customers to provide strategic and tactical thought partnership to effectively drive project delivery Forge relationships with Product, Tech, Business Analyst, Process, and other key stakeholders to ensure delivery of commitments and alignment through launch Lead and manage meetings, document progress, and report to stakeholders on project status Identify ways to improve and streamline process and collaboration across workstreams Required Skills/Experience (Must-Haves) 3+ years of project management experience supporting, partnering, or interacting with internal business clients 3+ years of Project Management, Process Management or Relationship Management experience Strong communication and collaboration skills Exhibit a proven track record of project management, bringing the ability to quickly put structure in place to manage the work Demonstrate outstanding communication and partnership skills which are essential for interacting and communicating with key stakeholders across all levels to manage, inform, and influence outcomes Demonstrate organizational agility to adapt to changing demands Display strong consulting and collaboration skills Preferred Qualifications: Bachelors Degree or Military experience 5+ years of experience in Project Management, Process Management or Relationship Management Process or Project Management certification (i.e., Lean, Six Sigma, PMP), Business Management certification Strong problem solving and influencing skills Work experience achieving results with complex projects Proficient in end-to-end project management delivery Key Competencies & Behaviors Self-starter with curiosity and initiative Strong relationship-building and communication skills Comfortable presenting to leadership and navigating challenging stakeholder dynamic Work Environment Location: Must sit onsite in Richmond, VA hybrid three days per week Hybrid Compensation & Benefits Pay Range: The approximate pay range for this position is between $35.00 and $43.00. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to background, knowledge, skills, and location.
