CDL A Flatbed Truck Driver

Job Description

CDL A driver to operate a tractor flatbed trailer, freightliner and F250 pickup and flatbed trailer, all automatic. Cargo securing required (know how to strap down their loads) Most driving in the F250. Hauling pipe, iron fittings, and valves. Furthest delivery may be 60 miles away but could be further per delivery. 80% driving and 20% warehouse. Warehouse duties would include, loading and unloading, some receiving when needed-input into system during slower times and general housekeeping. Temp to perm opportunity.

Must haves:
Sit down forklift
Smartphone
Customer service

Monday through Friday 7am to 4 pm

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver items such as fire hydrants, pipes, valves, and fittings to construction sites.
Loading/Unloading: Occasional loading with a sit-down forklift required.
Coordination: Work with site contractors who will handle the unloading of materials. You will have the delivery address, contact name, and phone number for coordination.

Experience driving manual transmission trucks.
Ability to operate a sit-down forklift (training can be provided if necessary).

Deliveries are made to job sites and construction sites.

Job Functions:

Deliver materials by the time scheduled by your supervisor.
Validate directions.
Unload or assist in unloading material as required.

Work overtime as needed.
