Position Summary

The Assembler is responsible for assembling, testing, inspecting, and packaging precision components and finished products in accordance with established manufacturing procedures and quality standards. This position requires strong attention to detail, manual dexterity, and the ability to work efficiently in a team-oriented production environment. The Assembler plays a critical role in ensuring products are manufactured safely, accurately, and on schedule.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Assemble components and subassemblies according to work instructions, engineering drawings, and production schedules.
• Operate hand tools, power tools, fixtures, and production equipment safely and effectively.
• Perform visual and functional inspections to ensure products meet quality standards and specifications.
• Read and interpret assembly instructions, blueprints, and manufacturing documentation.
• Complete production records, quality documentation, and inventory transactions accurately.
• Identify defects, process issues, and material shortages, escalating concerns as appropriate.
• Maintain compliance with all safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.
• Package and prepare completed products for shipment or transfer to the next stage of production.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, quality, and efficiency.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area following 5S and workplace safety practices.
• Work collaboratively with team members, supervisors, quality personnel, and engineering staff to meet production goals.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Sarasota, FL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
