Job Opportunity

Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Radiologic Technologist to join our team in a dynamic acute hospital setting. The ideal candidate must possess a current State of Hawaii Radiologic Technologist license and a strong background in Computed Tomography.

Key Responsibilities

Perform routine CT scans and other radiological procedures according to radiologist protocols.
Function independently with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment.
Utilize Meditech EMR, Canon/Toshiba CT units, and Vitrea workstation effectively.
Conduct venipuncture and advanced imaging techniques, including MIP, MPR, and 3D imaging.
Assist with procedures such as biopsies, drainages, and vascular or cardiac imaging when necessary.
Respond to trauma and stroke cases with professionalism and skill.

Qualifications

A valid State of Hawaii Radiologic Technologist license as a radiographer.
Current certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Computed Tomography.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
A minimum of two (2) years of experience in an acute hospital setting is preferred.
Experience with venipuncture and advanced imaging procedures is highly desirable.

Additional Information

All candidates must arrive by the Thursday before the start date to attend the required employee health appointment on Friday. Please note that no requests for time off (RTO) will be granted during the first 13 weeks of the contract. Proof of flu vaccination or a facility-approved application for a medical or religious exception will be required prior to the start date.
