ABOUT OUR AGENCY: Our agency opened in 2018 and proudly serves the West Michigan communities of Muskegon, Spring Lake, Fruitport, and Grand Haven. With more than 13 years of experience in the insurance industry, I've always had a passion for helping people protect what matters most. Insurance runs in my family, and that foundation helped shape the values of integrity, care, and strong relationships that guide our agency today.

I graduated from Cornerstone University in Grand Rapids, where I was an avid golfer. Family is incredibly important to me - I'm married and a proud father of four. Outside of the office, I enjoy spending time outdoors skiing, boating, and golfing.

Giving back to the community is a big part of who we are. I've coached the Boys High School Golf team at WMC High School for several years and volunteer with the Lakeshore Junior Lumberjacks youth hockey program. Our agency also supports local schools, first responders, hospitals, and community events throughout the Muskegon area.

ROLE DESCRIPTION: Ben Vanbiesbrouck - State Farm Agent is a leading insurance agency dedicated to providing exceptional service to our customers. We are currently seeking a dynamic individual to join our team as a Receptionist - State Farm Agent Team Member.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Greet customers warmly in person and over the phone, directing them to the appropriate team members.
• Manage appointment scheduling and office communications.
• Assist in handling incoming inquiries and maintaining customer records.
• Engage in conversations with prospective and existing customers, identifying opportunities to offer insurance options.
• Provide excellent customer service and follow up on customers needs.
• Support the team with various administrative tasks and projects.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Previous experience in a receptionist or customer service role.
• Communication and interpersonal skills.
• Organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Comfortable with engaging in sales conversations.
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and CRM systems.

Compensation: $40,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
