Department 34801 High Point Medical Center - Nursing: Joint Replacement Center Status Part time Benefits Eligible Yes Hours Per Week 24 Schedule Details 2 12‑hour shifts weekly 7 am–7 pm Pay Range $38.20 – $57.30 Where You Will Work The Piedmont Joint Camp is a 24‑bed orthopedic post‑operative unit specializing in the recovery and rehabilitation of patients undergoing total joint replacement surgeries. Staff provide high‑quality, patient‑centered care focused on pain management, mobility, education, and safe discharge planning. Responsibilities include monitoring postoperative status, managing surgical drains and dressings, supporting early ambulation, educating patients and families on recovery expectations, and maintaining a safe, encouraging environment that promotes optimal healing and independence. We’re Looking For Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification from the American Heart Association Greater than 1 year of RN experience What You’ll Do Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures. Use evidence‑based practice, clinical decision making and compassionate communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and best patient experience across the continuum.
