We are seeking a skilled Equipment Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience operating various heavy machinery and equipment on construction sites. This role is crucial for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of equipment, contributing to the overall success of our projects. The Equipment Operator will be responsible for operating machinery such as backhoes, front loaders, and excavators while adhering to safety protocols and best practices.

Duties

• Operate heavy equipment including backhoes, front loader trucks, water trucks, and excavators on construction sites.
• Perform routine inspections and maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Safely transport materials and equipment to designated locations.
• Collaborate with site supervisors and other team members to coordinate tasks effectively.
• Follow all safety regulations and protocols while operating machinery.
• Assist in the setup and teardown of job sites as needed.
• Maintain accurate records of equipment usage and maintenance.

Skills

• Proficient in heavy equipment operation with experience in backhoe operation, bulldozer, excavator, farm machinery, and Caterpillar equipment.
• Strong understanding of construction site operations and safety standards.
• Ability to perform basic maintenance on heavy machinery.
• Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with team members.
• Strong problem-solving skills to address any operational challenges that may arise.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to safety in all aspects of work.
• Must have a valid driver's license. CDL Class A or B is a bonus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $14.00 - $21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 45 per week

Schedule:

10 hour shift

• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Monday to Friday
• Weekends as needed
• Year round work
