Job Overview Centra Healthcare Allied is seeking a travel Physical Therapist for a travel job in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Posted job title: Physical Therapist (PT) Outpatient. Duration: 13 weeks. Responsibilities Assess referred patients requiring rehabilitation services, providing direct patient care to evaluate medical condition, functional capabilities, limitations and restrictions, and rehabilitation potential. Establish and administer a treatment program with specific goals based on patient’s capacity and tolerance, under the direction of the physician. Set realistic and achievable goals, document and record patient’s condition, and educate patients and families on appropriate physical therapy methods. Requirements Graduate from an accredited school. Hold current state license as a Registered Physical Therapist / PT, or be in the process of obtaining it. Current CPR certification. Develop a plan of care for each physical therapy patient. Provide skilled physical therapy services/interventions per physician orders. Assess patient needs, plan, evaluate, and modify care to meet physical therapy goals. Collaborate with all disciplines to plan and evaluate team goals for each patient.
