Technical Business AnalystLocation: Columbia, SC (need only local candidates)Experience: 12+ years Domain: Commercial Lending / Banking (ACBS expertise preferred)Job Summary:We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Business Analyst with hands-on experience in ACBS (Advanced Commercial Banking System), .NET, and SQL. This role bridges the gap between business needs and technical implementation, ensuring efficient solutions for commercial lending systems and custom applications. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, a deep understanding of banking workflows, and the technical acumen to work closely with development and QA teams.Key Responsibilities:Gather and analyze business requirements related to commercial lending and ACBS workflowsTranslate business needs into functional and technical specificationsWork closely with developers to design and enhance.NET-based applicationsWrite and optimize complex SQL queries to support reporting and data analysisServe as the SME for ACBS integrations, data structures, and reportingCollaborate with QA teams to define test plans, test cases, and support UATIdentify gaps and propose solutions that align with business goalsSupport data migration, integration, and transformation projectsPrepare documentation including business requirements, process flows, and user guidesRequired Skills & Experience:5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in financial services, preferably commercial lendingStrong experience working with ACBS – configuration, reporting, integrationsProficiency in .NET framework – ability to communicate effectively with developers on backend/front-end logicAdvanced knowledge of SQL Server – writing complex queries, stored procedures, views, etc.Experience in data mapping, data analysis, and process modelingStrong communication and stakeholder management skillsExperience with Agile/Scrum methodologiesPreferred Qualifications:Previous involvement in ACBS upgrades, data migration, or system decommissioningKnowledge of related banking systems (e.g., Loan IQ, FIS, etc.)Experience with API integrations and data exchange formats (XML, JSON)Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS) is a plusEducation:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or a related field
