We are committed to a culture that respects our differences and values the contributions of all people.Please visit cantexcc.com for more information on this location.QualificationsQualifications:Graduation from an accredited School and a current and valid license in the applicable StateMinimum of one-year experience in a long-term or health care setting is preferredKnowledge of current trach care treatments and dressingsAbility to read, write, and speak the English languageEssential Functions:Observes, assesses, and treats Residents with trachs according to community policies, Federal, State, and local regulationsDocuments assessment and all related treatments in the medical recordConsults with Director of Nurses/Attending Physician regarding changes in Residents tracheostomy care and conditionAdministers medications and treatments as prescribedIdentifies and secures equipment and supplies for trach care, changing tubing and all replaceable equipment on a weekly basisEnsures a safe environment for Resident populationHas reviewed Cantex Senior Communities Clinical Policies and Procedures for Abuse Prevention and knows the employee's responsibility to enforce itResponsible for assuring patient/resident safety.Performs other duties as assigned by supervisorWe are an Equal opportunity employer; We offer an excellent benefit plan to include 401K with match, CEU reimbursement, vacation, sick, holidays, medical, dental, and supplemental insurance Plans as well as a Highly competitive compensation package.
