Pre-Sales Tech Lead and Security Consultant

As a Pre-Sales Security Engineer and Consultant, you will primarily work with Sales/ BD/ Account Management teams to identify client’s technical requirements, recommend the suitable solutions, produce and confirm BOQ, and approve technical configurations and system solutions. You will be meeting clients as part of the sales team, work to expand name recognition and work to create long term value. You will also work closely with other team members, mainly executives, marketing, and services to add value to the organization. Roles & Responsibilities Work with the sales team to achieve business-related sales and margin targets. Work with the sales team to draft, produce and present solutions, detailed BOQ, proposals and quotations. Check and approve sales quotations and proposals to ensure the solution configuration is correct. Conduct site surveys and work out site survey reports. Represent BluOcean, meeting clients for presentations, assist with negotiations with customers as may be needed. Product testing and demo setup for BluOcean offices. Produce technical training material and provide technical training for BluOcean Sales, PM, engineering team. Provide tech and T&C support to project team during project implementation stage when needed. Implement security projects according to BluOcean standards and achieve the highest client satisfaction. Manage LSP (Local Service Providers) and local contractors to deliver excellent security system installation and implementation. Manage cost and meet BluOcean budget requirements. Testing and commissioning security systems for BluOcean customers. Produce programming matrix and testing plans for security projects and services. Work with related parties to ensure excellent security system installation and on-site coordination. Provide technical support for the sales team as required. Provide system design and consultation for customers when required. Provide system training to customers. Provide service troubleshooting, routine maintenance, power shutdown, and other maintenance-related services to BluOcean customers. Main Qualifications we are looking for: Minimal Bachelor Degree in relevant field - Electronic and Electrical Engineering, or Computer Science and Engineering. Over 5 years security systems installation and project management experience. Minimum 5 years pre-sales and technical support experience in the security industry. Proven experience working with large scale projects and multi-site projects/solutions. Proven experience working with global accounts and enterprise systems. Strong product knowledge related to Access control, CCTV, Alarm, Intercom, Turnstile/Gate control and other security related system and products. Experience with global security systems such as Lenel/S2, Avigilon, Milestone, Genetec, Ccure, Pro-Watch, etc. Experience with IT and networking technologies is a clear advantage. Ability to get things done within a tight schedule and working under pressure. Detailed oriented. Ability to produce detailed BOQ documents and solution proposals. Client service oriented.
