Heavy Equipment Operator

$28 - $40 per hour

Job Description

Heavy Equipment Operator -

Seasonal employment at a small Alaskan placer gold mine for 5-6 months. Looking for an experienced heavy equipment operator (at least 5 years), preferably with mining experience. Applicant must be familiar with all types of heavy equipment to include, large dozers, loaders, excavators, and haul trucks. Must be knowledgeable regarding pit mining and the processing of mineral bearing materials. Must be mechanically proficient as to heavy equipment and processing plant systems and components. Year-end bonuses dependent on performance and company profits.

Hours: 6-10’s, Sunday if needed

Pay: $28.00 to $40.00 per hour - Dependent on experience

EXAMPLES OF EXPERIENCE/SKILLS: Need not possess all of these

Former gold mine heavy equipment operator

Experienced pit mining dozer operator

NCCER certified for heavy equipment levels 1-3

Equipment specific training & certification

Class A or B CDL
