Credentialing Coordinator

About the Role We are seeking a detail‑oriented Credentialing Specialist to support provider onboarding and compliance. You'll review provider credentials, verify licensure, maintain documentation, and ensure all information meets regulatory and organizational standards. What You'll Do Complete credentialing and recredentialing processes in line with policies and procedures. Send and track provider forms, ensuring timely completion. Review documentation, research discrepancies, and verify accuracy. Monitor licensing boards and regulatory reporting sites for up‑to‑date provider information. Prepare concise summaries and maintain compliant provider files. Educate providers on required forms and submissions. Prepare reports and templates using Word and Excel. Enter and update provider data across multiple systems. Respond to provider inquiries with professionalism and strong customer service. What You'll Bring 1-2 years of credentialing experience, or 2-3 years of insurance verification/benefits experience/administrative healthcare experience. Knowledge of medical terminology. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Word and Excel. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to multitask, problem solve, and maintain accuracy and quality. Professionalism and sound judgment when handling sensitive information. Additional Requirement Complete a basic Word assessment (70% or higher required). Complete a basic Excel assessment (70% or higher required). Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Fairfield, CA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $26.00/hr.
