Assists in the medical care and treatment of students. The Registered Nurse takes and records temperature, blood pressure, pulse, respiration rates, and assists with student physicals. Administers specified medication and annotates time and amount on patients’ chart. The Registered Nurse assembles, sterilizes and uses various medical equipment and supplies. Maintains charting for trainees as seen by medical personnel. Qualifications State Registered Nurses License and at least one year of experience as a practicing Registered Nurse. Active, unrestricted license to practice in the state where the center is located. Preferred two or more years of experience. Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record. Required to pass a drug screen in compliance with our Substance Abuse and Drug‑Free Workplace policy. Employment contingent upon successful completion of a nationwide criminal background check. Additional Requirements Knowledge of nursing practices and procedures. Good organizational skills. Ability to carry out instructions with minimal supervision. Excellent communication skills, both oral and written. Ability to communicate effectively and relate to the trainee population. Position requires an ability to operate office equipment.
