Pay Rate: $17.50/hour

Job Summary

We are seeking a dependable and safety-focused Warehouse Associate with forklift experience to support material handling and warehouse operations. This position involves operating forklifts and other material-handling equipment to safely move materials, parts, assemblies, and finished products throughout the facility.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts and other powered material-handling equipment safely and efficiently.
• Move, load, unload, stage, and organize materials throughout the warehouse and facility.
• Use equipment such as forklifts, conveyors, cranes, handcarts, and power trucks.
• Follow established safety procedures, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and quality guidelines.
• Perform basic math calculations and accurately maintain required records.
• Assist with receiving, material handling, and inventory-related activities.
• Inspect materials and work areas to help maintain a safe and organized environment.
• Work effectively in a metrics-driven environment.
• Communicate clearly with coworkers, Team Leads, and Supervisors.
• Follow instructions and complete routine tasks with limited supervision.
• Perform physical tasks including lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, bending, reaching, stooping, kneeling, climbing, and standing for extended periods.
• Lift and move items weighing 50+ pounds when required.

Qualifications

• Forklift experience required.
• At least 1 year of warehouse or related experience preferred.
• Basic math skills required.
• Ability to read, write, understand, and interpret documents in English.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to follow safety procedures and written instructions.
• High school diploma or GED preferred but not required.
• Receiving experience is a plus.
• Must be willing to work in a physically demanding warehouse environment.

Work Environment

The position may involve exposure to moving mechanical equipment, vibration, weather conditions, and varying temperatures. The facility may be hot during the summer and cold during the winter. The noise level can range from moderate to loud.

Drug Screening: 10-panel drug screen required.
Forklift Questionnaire: A completed forklift questionnaire must be submitted with the candidate's resume.
