Licensed Mental Health Therapist

The Role

As a Licensed Mental Health Therapist, you will provide individual psychotherapy to adults experiencing concerns such as anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship difficulties, stress, and life transitions.

Compensation

$75 per direct clinical service hour. Required nonclinical work is compensated separately at the applicable administrative rate. This is a W-2, part-time, nonexempt position.

What You'll Do

• Provide individual telehealth psychotherapy to adults throughout California
• Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
• Utilize evidence based therapeutic modalities appropriate to each client's needs
• Incorporate holistic and mind body approaches when clinically appropriate
• Monitor client progress and measurable treatment outcomes
• Utilize our EHR and available technology, including wearable health data integrations when appropriate, to support treatment planning and outcome measurement
• Maintain timely, accurate, and confidential clinical documentation
• Collaborate with other professionals when clinically appropriate and with appropriate client authorization
• Provide appropriate risk assessment, safety planning, and crisis intervention within the scope of outpatient practice
• Participate in ongoing professional development and clinical consultation
• Develop, facilitate, or co-facilitating psychotherapy groups, psychoeducational groups, workshops, or other clinically. appropriate group services.

What We're Looking For

• Current, unrestricted California license as an LMFT, LCSW, or LPCC
• Experience providing psychotherapy to adults
• Commitment to culturally responsive and inclusive mental health care
• Strong clinical judgment, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently in a telehealth environment
• Comfortable utilizing technology as part of clinical practice
• Interest in evidence based treatment and holistic, integrative approaches to mental wellness

Nice to Have

Experience or advanced training in modalities such as CBT, DBT, EMDR, trauma informed therapy, mindfulness based interventions, somatic approaches, or other evidence based or integrative modalities is welcomed

Work Schedule:

Our practice offers services during the following hours:

• Monday–Friday: 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM
• Saturday: 8:00 AM – 2:00 PM
• Sunday: 8:00 AM – 1:00 PM

This is a part‑time position with a flexible remote work arrangement . At this time, the role is fully remote . As our practice expands, we will begin offering in‑person services , and this position will transition to a hybrid/in‑person model . Applicants should therefore be able and willing to provide in-person services at a future SoCal Soul Family Therapy location when the hybrid model is implemented.
