Reporting directly to the Quality Manager, you will oversee core quality documentation, drive root-cause problem solving, and lead continuous improvement initiatives across pre-series and series production. - Customer & Program Quality: Serve as primary contact for OEM complaints/warranty claims; drive complete 8D root-cause analysis, corrective actions, and Quality Alerts.
- Process & Quality Control: Participate in APQP, PFMEA, and Control Plan updates. Establish Quality Limit Samples and hold direct authority over suspect product disposition and sorting operations.
- Training & Continuous Improvement: Develop and deliver training on IATF standards, 8D, and product safety. Support Kaizen events, process validations, and IATF 16949 audits.
- Cross-Functional Support: Escalate Product Safety & Conformity risks and serve as back-up support for CMM/Launch Engineering and Quality Leadership.
- Experience: BS in Engineering/Management OR 5+ years of Quality Engineering experience in automotive manufacturing.
- Technical Expertise: Deep knowledge of OEM-specific APQP, PPAP, 8D reporting, and Statistical Process Control (SPC).
- Certifications: IATF 16949:2016 Certified Internal Auditor preferred.
- Skills: Exceptional communication, organizational, and coaching skills with experience training shop-floor personnel. MS Office.

- Participate in development and review of APQP documents, PFMEA, and Control Plans for pre-series and series production.
- Support Kaizen events, troubleshooting, and process validations.
- Implement and participate in sorting actions.
- Define and maintain Quality Limit Samples as reference for new and series parts.
- Complete on-time 8D reports for BMW series production complaints and warranty claims.
- Create Quality Alerts for recurring or critical quality issues.
- Develop, schedule, and deliver training programs for operators and staff on Customer/automotive standards, APQP, PPAP, 8D problem-solving, and product safety.
- Support plant improvement projects
and launch readiness. - Serve as primary customer contact for BMW
production quality issues. - Ensure timely completion of 8D reports and corrective actions.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives targeting BMW-specific standards.
- Promote safe work practices and maintain cleanliness in production areas.
- Mentor and coach junior quality engineers and operators.
- Plan, coordinate, and track training programs to maintain compliance with BMW quality standards.
- Support QMS Coordinator and Supplier Quality Specialist in internal and external audits.
- Update APQP, PFMEA, and Control Plans in response to complaints or findings.
- Develop training materials for new programs, quality improvements, and launch readiness.
