Account Representative

Account RepresentativeThe Account Representative is responsible for managing customer accounts and serving as the primary liaison between customers and internal departments. This role ensures accurate order processing, timely communication, and efficient resolution of both routine and complex customer inquiries for domestic and international clients.Key Responsibilities:Provide account management support to customers, including handling inquiries, order processing, and issue resolutionCollaborate with Procurement and Operations to deliver pricing and lead time quotationsProcess and release customer purchase orders through the ERP systemMonitor and track order status, providing updates and expediting requests as neededCoordinate shipping logistics, including freight forwarders, carriers, and transit methodsResolve shipping issues and ensure customer delivery requirements are metRecord and track customer complaints using the Quality Improvement Process (QIP) systemManage Engineering Process Requests (EPRs) related to product configurationsProcess pricing workflow requestsSupport Sales Operations functions, including forecast management, Engineering Change Orders (ECOs), and month-end activitiesMaintain knowledge of Service Letters, Service Instructions, and Service Bulletins and their customer impactEnsure compliance with Export Administration Regulations and perform Restricted Party Screenings when applicableParticipate in internal and external quality auditsComplete required compliance training modulesParticipate in cross-functional teams and ongoing training initiativesQualifications:Bachelor's degree in business administration or related field, or equivalent experience3-5 years of relevant experience in customer service, Piston engine product knowledge preferredProficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word and Excel)Working knowledge of Oracle, Noetix, and QlikView preferredFamiliarity with the General Aviation market (domestic and international) is a plusUnderstanding of export regulations, international shipping procedures, and trade documentationStrong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple prioritiesExcellent verbal and written communication skillsSelf-motivated with strong problem-solving abilitiesCore Competencies:Customer-focused approachStrong collaboration and teamworkConflict resolution skillsEffective time management and organizational abilitiesAbility to influence and lead without direct authorityAdaptability and willingness to travel as neededAI Readiness:Textron expects employees to use AI-enabled tools responsibly and effectively.
