Job Description

Little Acorns Learning Center is seeking an energetic, responsible, and qualified individual who is over 18 for a full time Lead Teacher position in our younger toddler classroom.

Lead Teacher Responsibilities:

Manage the classroom by creating a safe and nurturing environment
Create weekly lesson plans
Promote social, emotional, and cognitive growth in the children
Regularly communicate with families
Collaborate with coworkers
Meet state requirements for child care centers

Qualifications:

Minimum 1 year experience preferred
Strong communication and leadership skills
Lead teacher qualified as described by DCYF Rule 3
Positive and patient demeanor
