Clinical Faculty, Nursing

The Department of Nursing at the University of South Dakota (USD) is seeking a full‑time clinical nursing faculty member to join the Sioux Falls campus. This 9‑month, full‑time position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the education and development of future nurses in a supportive and dynamic academic environment. Responsibilities Clinical teaching in direct patient care, lab, and simulation settings. Evaluation of student learning. Collaboration with interdisciplinary teams. Required Qualifications Current unencumbered nursing license, eligible for licensure in South Dakota. Minimum of a master’s degree in nursing from a nationally accredited program by August 18, 2026. Authorized to work in the U.S.; sponsorship is not available. Preferred Qualifications Strong nursing background with experience in medical‑surgical nursing. Experience teaching in a baccalaureate or higher degree program. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a team. Ability to work with technology.
