Sterile Manufacturing Technician

Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented Sterile Manufacturing Technician for a temp-to-hire opportunity in De Soto, KS. This role supports sterile manufacturing, packaging, and component staging within a regulated production environment focused on product quality, cleanliness, documentation accuracy, and safety.

Key Responsibilities

- Package finished products and prepare materials for the next stage of sterile processing.
- Stage sterile components, supplies, and materials needed for manufacturing operations.
- Clean, assemble, prepare, and support sterilization of filling equipment and production areas.
- Operate autoclaves and other production equipment according to established procedures.
- Disinfect filling rooms, equipment, and support areas while following aseptic processing requirements.
- Complete production records accurately while following Standard Operating Procedures, safety standards, and Good Documentation Practices.

Compensation and Benefits

- Pay: $20 per hour.
- Job type: Temp-to-hire.
- Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
- Overtime is rare and typically voluntary.
- Location: De Soto, KS.

Required Qualifications and Skills

- Support sterile manufacturing, packaging, component staging, and equipment preparation activities.
- Follow aseptic processing procedures to help maintain product sterility and production quality.
- Complete accurate production documentation in accordance with Good Documentation Practices.
- Identify and communicate potential equipment, process, safety, or documentation issues.

- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- One to three years of experience in manufacturing, production, laboratory operations, packaging, or a related environment.
- Experience following Standard Operating Procedures in a regulated production setting.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow precise written instructions.
- Mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot basic production or equipment issues.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills.
- Basic computer proficiency.
- Ability to work safely and consistently as part of a production team.
- Ability to lift up to 35 pounds occasionally.

Preferred Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in biology or a related science.
- Experience in an aseptic, sterile, cleanroom, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical device, food production, or other regulated manufacturing environment.
- Familiarity with USDA regulations or other regulated production standards.
- Prior experience operating autoclaves or supporting sterile filling operations.
