Step into an impactful opportunity serving elementary students as a contracted Speech-Language Pathologist for the first 12 weeks of the upcoming school year! This role covers August 10 through the end of October, filling in for an SLP on family leave. You’ll work across two elementary sites and collaborate with a Speech-Language Assistant, ensuring that a larger caseload remains manageable and that all students receive the support they need. Candidates who prefer a virtual setting are welcome, as VOCO is an option for this assignment.

Qualifications & Ideal Experience:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required
• Previous experience in a school-based SLP role, preferably at the elementary level
• Eligible for licensure in Indiana
• Comfortable managing a larger, diverse caseload with the support of an SLA
• Proficiency in remote/virtual therapy platforms, if working VOCO

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct speech and language therapy to elementary students, following established IEPs
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student success
• Supervise and consult with the Speech-Language Assistant (SLA) as needed
• Conduct assessments, write reports, and contribute to IEP development and meetings
• Utilize a range of strategies (in-person or virtual) to address unique communication needs
