This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to grow their career in a collaborative environment while gaining exposure to a variety of accounting functions.Overview Of The Staff Accountant Role:Prepare and post journal entries and maintain the general ledgerAssist with month-end and year-end close processesReconcile bank accounts, balance sheet accounts, and other general ledger accountsPrepare financial reports and support management with financial analysisAssist with accounts payable and accounts receivable as neededSupport annual audits and tax preparationEnsure compliance with GAAP and company accounting policiesIdentify opportunities to improve accounting processes and efficienciesPreferred Qualifications For The Staff Accountant:Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance2–5 years of accounting experienceStrong understanding of GAAP and accounting principlesProficiency in Microsoft ExcelExperience with an ERP system preferredExcellent analytical, organizational, and communication skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
