As a Senior Solutions Architect within Enterprise Technology Solutions, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting technical integrations between client environments and Bloomberg's suite of enterprise applications. These integrations often involve building and deploying solutions that leverage XML and FIX messaging, APIs, and a variety of connectivity technologies to facilitate the secure and reliable exchange of data between client systems and the Bloomberg Cloud. Typical engagements may include real-time XML and FIX messaging, data transformations, batch-based processing, FpML and SWIFT messaging, as well as connectivity solutions utilizing MQ, FIX, TCP/IP, SFTP, Web APIs, WebSockets, and ODBC. In addition to enabling data connectivity and transformation, you will help clients leverage Bloomberg APIs through both server-based and desktop-based architectures. We'll Trust You To Design, configure, and deploy integration solutions between Bloomberg platforms and client environmentsLead technical implementation activities and ensure successful delivery of integration projectsWork directly with client stakeholders to understand requirements and develop appropriate technical solutionsManage multiple projects and priorities effectively in a fast-paced, client-focused environmentTroubleshoot and resolve complex integration and connectivity issuesCollaborate with internal Product, Engineering, and Client Service teams to drive successful outcomesServe as a trusted technical advisor throughout the implementation lifecycle You'll Need To Have 7+ years of experience in a technical role supporting front-office technologies within a financial institution or financial technology vendorCapital markets knowledge, including an understanding of buy-side and sell-side order management workflowsStrong experience working with MQ, SFTP, Web APIs, SWIFT, and FIX protocolsExperience with ETL workflows and data transformation technologies, including XML and XSLTClient-facing communication skills with the ability to manage stakeholder expectations effectivelyProven ability to independently manage technical integration and implementation projects We'd Love to See Programming or scripting experience, preferably with Python or similar technologiesExperience working with source code repositories and software development best practicesExperience with data analytics or large-scale data environmentsFamiliarity with API testing and development tools such as PostmanAWS and/or Azure foundational certificationsPortuguese and/or Spanish language proficiency is a plus What Makes You Successful You are comfortable working directly with clients and translating business requirements into technical solutionsYou enjoy solving complex integration challenges across multiple systems and technologiesYou can balance technical depth with strong project ownership and stakeholder managementYou thrive in collaborative environments and are able to partner effectively across Product, Engineering, and Client-facing teamsSalary Range = 150,000 - 200,000 USD Annual + Benefits + BonusThe referenced salary range is based on the Company's good faith belief at the time of posting.
