As an Operating Room Registered Nurse, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality care to surgery patients. You will be responsible for initiating and implementing a plan of care based on medical, surgical, and nursing diagnoses. Your expertise will ensure a safe environment and high standards of care in the Operating Room.

• Assess and monitor the physical status of patients, collecting and recording necessary data
• Actively listen to patients and provide appropriate responses
• Identify interventions necessary for expected outcomes based on specific surgeries
• Anticipate potential problems and adapt to surgical procedures
• Create and maintain a sterile field
• Anticipate the need for equipment and supplies
• Evaluate nursing interventions in relation to established expected outcomes
• Reassess status and implement revised plans of care as needed

Qualifications:

• State of California Registered Nurse License required
• American Heart Association BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Need 2 years experience in operating room setting
• Cerner experience preferred
• CNOR experience preferred
• Strong comfortability with Orthopedics, general, and ENT
• Ability to work effectively with patients, peers, physicians, and ancillary departments
