Registered Landscape Architect

Registered Landscape ArchitectPassero Associates' is seeking a highly skilled and Registered Landscape Architect to join our team in Rochester, NY. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in landscape design, project management, and sustainable practices. This role involves collaborating with clients, engineers, and other stakeholders to create innovative and functional outdoor spaces.Responsibilities:Develop and design landscape plans for various projects, including residential, commercial, and public spaces.Prepare detailed drawings, specifications, and cost estimates.Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and preferences.Coordinate with engineers, architects, and contractors to ensure project success.Oversee project implementation and provide guidance during construction.Ensure compliance with local regulations and zoning laws.Promote sustainable and environmentally friendly design practices.Qualifications/Experience:Licensed Landscape Architect.Proven experience in landscape design and project management.Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, and Adobe Creative Suite.Strong understanding of horticulture, soil science, and environmental sustainability.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Experience with public space design and urban planning.Knowledge of irrigation systems and water management.About Passero: founded in 1972, Passero Associates has a staff of more than 180 professionals in nine offices providing high-quality, value-oriented architecture, aviation, civil and structural engineering, planning, transportation, and survey services throughout the north-eastern, southeastern, and midwestern United States.As a full-service professional AEC firm, our technical teams specialize in traffic engineering, sustainability, program management, design-build, construction observation, 3D visualization, and virtual infrastructure services and solutions.
