Dental Assistant / Per Diem

Overview We are seeking a dedicated Dental Assistant to join our OPD Dental Community Clinic in Hartford, CT, on a per diem basis. In this role, you will provide essential support to our dental team by assisting with patient care, preparing treatment areas, and ensuring a smooth clinical workflow. Responsibilities Assist dentists during examinations and procedures, including sterilization and setup of dental instruments and materials. Take and develop dental radiographs, and maintain accurate patient records. Provide patient education on oral health and post-treatment care instructions. Ensure infection control protocols are strictly followed to maintain a safe environment for staff and patients. Manage appointment scheduling and coordinate patient flow efficiently.
