Sr. Network Engineer

Job description:
We are looking for an experienced and proactive Senior Network Engineer to join our growing team. The candidate will be responsible for managing and maintaining our high-performance data center infrastructure, which includes Cisco and Palo Alto equipment. Additionally, the candidate will be tasked with managing the infrastructure of our AWS account.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement and maintain Cisco, Palo Alto, and other network hardware in our data centers.


• Monitor network performance and integrity, troubleshooting and resolving issues as needed.


• Manage and maintain the infrastructure in our AWS account, including EC2, VPC, CloudFront, Route 53, S3, and other services.


• Lead and coordinate network security measures, ensuring robustness and compliance with security policies.


• Perform network maintenance and system upgrades, including service packs, patches, hot fixes and security configurations.


• Collaborate with team members to develop system and network designs.


• Develop and implement network disaster recovery plans.


• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for all implemented networks.

Qualification:
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering or a related field or at least 5 years of experience in a network engineer role.
• Proven experience managing large scale data centers, ideally with both Cisco and Palo Alto equipment.
• Solid understanding of network operating systems (JUNOS, Cisco IOS).
