Executive Director

Executive Director Join our dynamic team at Bickford Senior Living as an Executive Director. The Executive Director is the operations leader who drives the culture and performance of a Bickford Branch. This position works closely with department managers to ensure excellent resident care and engagement, optimal sales results, and financial performance. Responsible for all operations within the Branch, interacting with staff, residents, potential residents, or their family members or representatives, as necessary; builds and maintains strong working relationships with the management team. Acts as a hands‑on leader who supervises, directs, and motivates Branch staff; provides assistance as needed to ensure the branch operates optimally. Attracts, retains, and develops top talent within the Branch. Ensures that the branch is scheduled and staffed appropriately, meeting all local/state regulatory requirements. Responsible for recruiting and hiring high‑quality and engaged staff and ensuring they are appropriately trained and developed to meet the needs of residents. Responsible for maintaining positive resident relations and being accessible and approachable to residents and their families. Drives sales in collaboration with the Branch Sales Leader to ensure the Branch meets necessary occupancy and net operating income (NOI) targets. Ensures buildings, grounds, and property are in good order in partnership with Divisional operations support and the corporate office. Enforces current Company policies and procedures, ensuring that the Branch is also in congruence with local, state, and federal guidelines. Qualifications High‑school diploma or GED required. Bachelor’s degree in a related health care field preferred. Necessary licensure to operate an Assisted Living Facility as outlined by local state regulations. Experience with managing the operations of a business. Senior housing operations experience is preferred but not required. Proficiency in computer skills, Microsoft Office (Windows, Outlook, Excel), with the ability to learn new applications. Possess written and verbal skills for effective communication. Competent in organizational and time management skills. Demonstrates good judgment, problem‑solving, and decision‑making skills. A valid driver’s license and a driving record consistent with Bickford’s insurance carrier guidelines. #J-18808-Ljbffr
