Position Summary

We are seeking a Cloud Engineer to provide technical support, administration, and analysis for cloud infrastructure project and production environments. This position will support the implementation, deployment, configuration, monitoring, testing, maintenance, and improvement of cloud-based systems and services.

The Cloud Engineer will work with client and cloud-based technologies and support reliable and efficient operation of cloud infrastructure and services.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical support and analysis for cloud infrastructure project and production environments.

• Support the implementation, deployment, configuration, administration, and maintenance of cloud-based environments.

• Develop recommendations for cloud infrastructure upgrades and improvements.

• Monitor, plan, measure, and test new cloud-based products and services.

• Support cloud-based software implementation and deployment.

• Support SaaS and PaaS environments and related cloud technologies.

• Perform and support configuration management and software distribution activities.

• Support storage area networks and cloud-based storage environments.

• Support network management activities within cloud environments.

• Support server management and administration within cloud-based environments.

• Assist with cloud-based mainframe management activities as applicable.

• Monitor cloud environments and assist with identifying and resolving infrastructure and operational issues.

• Troubleshoot cloud infrastructure, configuration, deployment, and system issues.

• Analyze cloud environments and recommend improvements to performance, reliability, and operations.

• Support testing and implementation of new cloud products, services, configurations, and infrastructure changes.

• Develop and maintain technical documentation related to cloud environments, configurations, implementations, and operational procedures.

• Work under general supervision while providing solutions to technical problems of moderate scope and complexity.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree.

• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.

• Experience supporting cloud infrastructure and cloud-based project or production environments.

• Experience with cloud implementation, deployment, configuration, administration, or operations.

• Experience working with cloud-based technologies and services.

• Experience supporting SaaS and/or PaaS environments.

• Knowledge of configuration management and software deployment concepts.

• Familiarity with network, server, and storage management.

• Experience monitoring, testing, and troubleshooting cloud-based products and services.

• Strong technical analysis, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

• Strong documentation and communication skills.
