MRI Technologist I

The MRI Technologist I performs MRI exams using established protocols to support accurate diagnosis and patient care. Working in a hospital imaging department, this role reviews orders, verifies patient identity and history, positions patients, operates MRI scanners and related equipment, and assists with IV contrast per protocol. The technologist evaluates image quality, follows MRI and radiation safety guidelines, documents in clinical systems, and supports basic patient care and emergency response in collaboration with radiology and clinical staff.
