Per Diem Pharmacist in Cleveland, TN

A per diem pharmacist opportunity is available to provide vacation coverage at an independent compounding pharmacy known for handling approximately 1,000 compounds daily. This role is based in Cleveland, TN, with ongoing needs including May 27-29 in Chattanooga, TN.


Responsibilities:

• Oversee a team of 5 pharmacy technicians responsible for data entry, prescription fills, and managing phone inquiries
• Address and resolve any questions or issues that arise during the pharmacy operations
• Supervise the mail order eye drop department, ensuring accurate shipment of three different formulations of post-cataract surgery eye drops

Schedule:

• Pharmacy operates Monday through Friday, 9 am to 6 pm; closed on weekends
• Typical work hours are 9 am to 6 pm with a one-hour lunch break from 1 pm to 2 pm

Qualifications:

• Active Tennessee Pharmacist License in good standing
• Minimum of 1 to 2 years pharmacology experience required
• Previous mail order pharmacy experience is preferred but not mandatory
