Practice Info Acute care hospital located in Southaven, Mississippi Provides a wide range of health care services, including ancillary, cancer, emergency and surgical, heart, neurology, women's and children's services First hospital in De Soto County to offer open-heart surgery Anesthesia care team approach with CRNAs, MDs, and surgical team Care team model includes approximately 3 anesthesiologists and 15 CRNAs Responsibilities Case assignments: Regional, Cardiovascular (CV), EP Lab cases, Neurology, Orthopedics, Obstetrics, General, Urology, and Well Peds, Pulmonary (bronchoscopy), Gastroenterology (EGD, colonoscopy, ERCP), Interventional Radiology Pre-anesthesia assessment Obtains and/or verifies patient consent Discuss anesthetic options and risks with the patient Induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia Monitoring of the patient's physiological condition Performance of clinical intervention as needed Responsible for the medical management of patients who are rendered unconscious and/or insensible to pain and emotional stress during surgery and other medical procedures Compensation Salary: $537,000 Sign on Incentive: $30,000 Benefits Generous benefits package, including: Health, life, vision, dental, disability, and AD&D insurance Flexible Spending Accounts / Health Savings Accounts 401(k) Malpractice insurance coverage Fully paid malpractice insurance coverage Leadership and professional development opportunities Shift & Schedule 2 weeks on, 1 week off position 18 weeks of 7a-5p shift or 17.5 weeks of call and 17.5 weeks of day shift Requirements M.D./D.O.
