Housekeeper PositionThe Citadel of Northbrook is seeking a Housekeeper to join their team! The Housekeeper cleans and services an assigned portion of the facility including furniture, floors, and equipment. Maintains the assigned area to ensure it is clean, sanitary, safe, orderly, and attractive.Housekeeper Duties and Responsibilities:Gathers and disposes of trash ensuring plastic liners are in containers at all times.Vacuums, dust/wet mops, and sanitizes floors daily.Empties trash bins and maintains a clean environment surrounding the dumpster.Cleans walls, ceilings, windows, stairwells, hallways, metal fixtures, light fixtures, tops of windows, doorframes, and other high places using a step ladder if necessary.Hangs draperies, privacy curtains, etc. as necessary.Keeps utility room and housekeeping closets in order and sanitized.Follows established sanitation and safety standards.Performs other duties as assigned.Housekeeper Qualifications and Skills:Able to read, write, speak, and understand English.Housekeeper Education and Experience:High School diploma or equivalent required.Previous institutional Housekeeping experience preferred.Prior experience working in a long-term care facility a plus.Physical Requirements:Able to perform physical activities that require considerable use of your arms and legs and moving your whole body, such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, and handling of materials.Walking, reaching, bending, lifting, extended sitting, grasping, fine hand coordination, pushing and pulling, ability to distinguish smells and temperatures, all with or without the aid of mechanical devices is required.Citadel Healthcare Benefits:Daily Pay & Competitive Compensation401(k) with company matchBlue Cross Blue Shield Medical insurance.Dental, Vision, and Disability insuranceInnovative Training ProgramsOpportunity for Growth and AdvancementPaid Time OffCitadel Healthcare has a long and successful history of providing long and short-term skilled nursing care.
