Your role: From the proposal to the finished kitchen In our Franke Foodservice Systems division, everything revolves around customized solutions for the quick‑service restaurant industry. We help the world’s largest restaurant chains make their kitchens more efficient, modern, and sustainable. And this is exactly where you come in. Imagine this: a new kitchen project comes in, and you are involved from the very beginning. You create proposals, manage orders, and support the project from the initial request through to successful implementation—always in close collaboration with our Account Management team. As a Project Manager I you are the central interface: you coordinate all steps with Supply Chain, Purchasing, Engineering, Product Management, Segment Management, and CAD Management to ensure the required kitchen equipment is available on time. When customers have specific requirements, you align these and prepare everything for Engineering and Product Management. And because quality matters, you ensure that our proposal templates are not only consistent but also top‑note. In doing so, you help ensure that every project runs smoothly and that our customers are delighted. Your tasks (Essential Duties and Responsibilities) Manage day‑to‑day project development from initiation to completion. Document project scope. Organize projects in logical, cost‑effective, and measurable steps. Track and report project progress on a consistent and accurate basis. Coordinate cross functional activities. Integrate company standards and policies with project requirements. Recommend solutions, implementation, and deployment within project life‑cycle, as necessary. Document and report project information, as needed, utilizing appropriate systems. May provide training following project deployment. Document product process and procedure documents. Other duties as assigned. Reliable attendance is a must. Requirements Customer Service—knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer service. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction. Computers—knowledge of computer hardware and software, including applications and programming. Design—knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principals involved in productions of technical plans, blueprints, drawings, and models. Language Skills: Basic Skills—ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos; ability to write simple correspondence; ability to effectively present information in one‑on‑one and small group situations, to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization. Mathematical Skills: Basic Skills—ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals; ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent, and to draw and interpret bar graphs. Reasoning Ability: Basic Skills—ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions; ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations. Computer Skills: Word Processing Software—Microsoft Word; Spreadsheet software—Microsoft Excel; Internet Software—Project Portal; Order Processing Systems—Primary Business Systems (PBS) – Order Manager; Other—PBS‑RMA Manager, Credit Note Manager, Project Manager, Incident Manager. Other Knowledge/Skills—attention to detail, problem solving, customer service, proper email etiquette, organizational & multi‑tasking. Education and/or Experience Associate’s Degree. Two years’ prior related work experience. Or combination of education and experience may be considered. Supervisory Responsibilities Does not supervise staff.
