Senior Developer

Location: Remote Job Summary
This role focuses on supporting technology decisions, improving developer productivity, and accelerating solution delivery. The position is primarily hands-on development, with some involvement in architecture.

This role focuses on supporting technology decisions, improving developer productivity, and accelerating solution delivery. The position is primarily hands-on development, with some involvement in architecture.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop scalable, flexible, and resilient applications in collaboration with product teams
- Support application re-architecture for serverless and containerized environments
- Perform hands-on coding, debugging, and code reviews
- Ensure code quality, security, accessibility (508), and compliance standards
- Collaborate with development and business teams to understand system design
- Develop and maintain application templates and enhancements
- Perform unit testing, code analysis, and participate in review sessions
- Conduct gap analysis and impact assessment
- Support POCs, new initiatives, and technical documentation
- Communicate technical issues, root cause, and solutions effectively
- Follow all policies including HIPAA compliance
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- 5+ years of software development experience
- Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile methodologies
- Experience troubleshooting custom and standard applications
Technical Requirements (Must-Have)
- Strong experience with Progress ABL (OpenEdge)
- Hands-on coding with JavaScript and Bash
- Experience with Progress Development Studio and OpenEdge Application Server
- Experience with code reviews, debugging, and application enhancements
Preferred Qualifications
- Healthcare domain experience (mandatory); pharmacy experience is a plus
- Experience with COTS tools (Salesforce, Pega, MuleSoft, Oracle EBS, Cognos, etc.)
- Experience with SSO and IAM integrations
- Knowledge of application security and vulnerability management
- Experience working with cloud platforms (AWS, Oracle Cloud, IBM Cloud)
- Familiarity with Jira and Bitbucket
- Strong communication, collaboration, and multitasking skills
