I had the privilege of working alongside my father, Mike Markman, at his long-established agency in Park Ridge. It was there that I developed a passion for helping people in their moments of need, building trust with clients that continues to drive how I lead my agencies today. Across my two offices, we have a team of 10, collectively bringing well over 100 years of State Farm experience. Many of my team members have been with me for years, and their loyalty and expertise are the foundation of our success. We handle everything from simple customer needs to complex policy issues with professionalism and care. We make a point to keep our culture strong through team lunches and dinners throughout the year. I encourage flexibility and support a healthy work-life balance. Giving back to the community is something I value deeply. My family and I volunteer with Feed My Starving Children several times a year, and I’m an active member of both the Wilmette and Northbrook Chambers of Commerce. I also stay involved with Glenbrook North athletics, where my son plays basketball. Our office culture is built on respect, diversity, and collaboration.
