Position Summary Pharmacists at ECU Health Medical Center are committed to the safe and effective use of medications through maximizing drug distribution and optimizing drug therapy outcomes; educating patients, providers, and ourselves on best practices; and fully integrating pharmacists into the continuum of care. Pharmacists report directly to a designated Pharmacy Supervisor based on area of practice. Minimum Requirements B.S. or PharmD in pharmacy is required 2 years of relevant pharmacy experience (post-graduate) or completion of a PGY-2 pharmacy practice residency Must be licensed as a pharmacist by the NC Board of Pharmacy by start date. Maintains active NC pharmacy license and provides proof of renewal prior to December 31 annually. American Heart Association BLS is required within 30 days of hire.
